The $320 Billion Black Hole: HumaTek’s Sit-Down with Sam Kamani
By The HumaTek Leadership Team
In the Web3 and tech space, months can feel like years.
Back in September, our leadership team—Tommy LaRocca (CEO), Ruhul Ahmed (CTO), and Michael Moffa (CSO)—sat down with Sam Kamani on the Web3 with Sam Kamani podcast (Episode 297) to outline a bold thesis. We discussed how HumaTek is tackling fraud, inefficiency, and outdated systems in the global aid industry.
We encourage you to hit play and listen to the full foundational interview right here:
When we recorded this, we were focused on building the infrastructure to solve a massive global crisis: out of the $800 billion deployed for global philanthropy annually, a staggering $320 billion is lost to fraud, friction, and administrative waste.
During the interview, we discussed the absurdity of our current reality: you can track a $20 pizza delivery to your front door in real-time, yet the global aid industry relies on “autopsy analysis”—waiting on annual tax reports to see where millions of dollars went months after the fact.
We promised to turn that “Black Box” into a “Glass Box.”
Today, we aren’t just talking about the vision anymore. We are executing it.
The Tech That Powers the Proof
In the podcast, our CTO Ruhul Ahmed broke down the early architecture of HumaDash and our dual-impact cryptocurrency, HumaCoin ($HUMC). Today, that architecture is fully realized.
HumaDash operates as the engine of real-time transparency. It is a live global map showing donations, active projects, and beneficiaries in real-time. By utilizing an immutable blockchain ledger, we have replaced vague annual reports with granular, live data. Coupled with AI-driven fraud detection to scan transaction patterns and automated compliance tools for KYC/AML, we have built the ultimate accountability tool.
HumaCoin ($HUMC) serves as the financial utility layer. Running primarily on the Binance Smart Chain (BSC) for high throughput and low fees, and Polygon zkEVM for enhanced scalability, it eliminates the expensive administrative friction that plagues traditional cross-border philanthropy.
The Receipts: Community Proof of Work
In our conversation with Sam, we discussed our early partnerships focusing on homelessness, human trafficking, and medical aid.
Since that recording, we have aggressively stress-tested our ecosystem in our own backyard. Over the last year in Tampa Bay, Florida, HumaTek successfully:
Funded a 3,000-person meal program in partnership with A Servant’s Way and Station House BBQ.
Provided a $26,000 donation to Redefining Refuge to combat human trafficking.
Sponsored the 13 Ugly Men event benefiting Wounded Warriors, and backed initiatives for autism awareness (Jacob’s Touch) and men’s health.
We didn’t just write checks; we proved that our tracking architecture works in the real world.
Bridging Web3 to the Global Stage
We laid the groundwork on Sam Kamani’s podcast. Now, we are taking the Glass Box Standard to the masses.
This month—March 2026—marks two of the most significant milestones in HumaTek’s history:
The Exchange Listing: HumaCoin ($HUMC) is officially listing on the PancakeSwap blockchain exchange. With a total minted supply of 2,000,000,000 HUMC, and an opening ICO price of exactly $0.04 per token, we are launching the financial infrastructure for the future of global aid.
Mainstream Hollywood Validation: HumaTek has the distinct honor of being an official sponsor at the 98th Academy Awards (Oscars 2026) Luxury Lounge Gifting Suite in Beverly Hills, California. We are bringing the message of transparent, efficient humanitarian aid directly to the world’s most influential voices.
As our CEO Tommy LaRocca says: “Proof, Not Promises.”
Thank you to Sam Kamani for giving us the platform to share our vision early on. To our community, investors, and partners—thank you for building the Glass Box with us.
Let’s execute.
